Naw it ait cuz they both from KC! That's for sure Rich from down north, Tone from out south. Different lingo and everything. Rich is to KC as 40 is to the bay. So the game just spread down cuz both put it down first and for so long. It's just the bay respect 40 for that and some KC artist might feel they are on Rich's level.

When I 1st heard Fat Tone's "Ima Get Cha" cd, I thought he sounded alot like Rich on acouple of tracks...is it becuz they both from KC? I havent really heard his other albums.

But outta Rich and Tone, I gotta give it to Rich all day long. He OG wit all the classic albums under his belt. I love his lyrics. And the whole Major Factor Camp be gettin off--Rush, Rappin Twan, Tommy Gunn, Sliccs.
Tone was tight too and all his albums had some dope cuts on em'. He had them hard ass lyrics but his voice was kinda fucked up to me.
