idk after the fountain im not sure i wanna see more of what aronofsky does with a budget & cgi
aronofsky is one of my favorite directors but this is his pattern, unfortunately. He makes Pi, then Requiem for a dream. Oscar nominations and awards for the latter. Holywood is like wow this guy is awesome give him all the momey he wants, total 100% creative control! He then makes The Fountain, a huge box office failer and a WTF movie. Then he struggles to get any money again. Makes a much lower budget film The Wrestler. Pure awesomeness, lots of awards. A little bigger budget makes Black Swan, oscars awards etc. Now Hollywood again is like this guy is awesome, give him all the money he wants! Lol

yup exactly, i want him to prove us wrong & learn from his mistakes but I'm keeping my expectations low.

This looks interesting to me. There are 3 major Biblical movies coming out this year I believe (not sure when Moses is slated to come out) which could be great or overkill. Despite people's thoughts about the Bible or Christianity, there are some great stories that could be told on film but are often ignored. A story about David's life would be legit but instead we get Noah's Ark. Special effects look kinda legit for this movie at least.
