I like the burgundy mixtape better but this album is still pretty good, you could tell he was tryna go for a more polished sound on some of the songs,

whoever said wax hasn't been puttin out good material lately should swoop that Waxfase 2.0 shit is his best mixtape since rat poison/rat trap and jr. high to the pen

also that jacka was sold out in 3 stores I went to and the only store that I know had it in SC was sold out, wax did you ever get me that signed copy i hit you up on the PM

i get being indie (to prove your hot) but why say your signed? if they aint pushing your cds (promo.dis wise?)?
There's a few artists on labels that dont get pushed. A Wax is signed to konvict, but they are focusing on others right now (lady Gaga).

Instead of thinking he (A Wax) made it, and kick back and wait for his turn (like many other artists do), he's still grinding puttin out these albums and what not. Because you never know when you are gonna get put out.

Plus for A Wax to release these side projects, street albums, mixtapes, makes him stand out in a big roster. Show's his dedication, shows his work abilitiy, shows the record label he's got the drive they need in a solid act.

To me, the street Album sounded "more polished" as it was meant for mainstream besides a few songs.

back on topic, That is dope that A Wax did this much on his own.

been a wax fan, the album is dope, in heavy rotation in the ride. my only complaint is that song "out of time" with josh franks should have been longer wax should have added more verses to that. other than that the album is bangin. has hella good tracks. i can always count on wax to drop good music.

Yeah I dont like 'out of time' and 'big money' only have 2 verses, they could have been better with more...

^^Out of time has 3 different versions. I wish he used the one with Clyde Carson and the Nu Jersey Devil....3 solid verses. That song is very sick, just wish they used the longer version too. I also wish that Itz not fair was 3 verses too, but it's a great song.

Great album altogether. Only like 3-4 songs I'm not feeling on the entire cd. So far my favorites are.. Itz not fair, Krossed out, Get yo money, The New West & If you saw. To me, it's the album of the year!

Any of you know the hook lyrics to Krossed Out? I hear the part krossed out with a k....I can't tell what he says before it.
