Wow, that sucks for the Packers.

@ Nebulizah, Kampman was a 4-3 DE, which is a pass-rush specialist in that defense. Te Packers switched to a 3-4, and the OLBs are the rush specialists in that defense. The linemen in a 3-4 are there to eat up blockers and they probably felt Kampman was more suited to be their pass rush specialist. A lot of 4-3 DEs get switched to OLB in a 3-4.

That's exactly why I asked the question. He can't cover for shit. They would've been better off leavin him on the line in the 3-4... he was just getting flat-out EMBARRASSED from what I saw of him this year before his injury.

I put all the blame on the defense and the first half play calling. Yeah smith threw a pick that set up a td but u cant blame hime for getting sacked before he had time to plant his foot and throw in the first half. our defense is horrible. Packers are the worst team at giving up sacks and we barely managed to sack rogers once....other then the two sacks I barely remember himeven being pressured. What happened to willis chasin down recievers and saving touchdowns? He was jogging and gave up on the play at the 30 when he was only about 5 yards behind the reciever who broke that 65 yard td.i think we're the only team that gives 10 yard cushions when it is 3rd and 5, first down and some everytime. I coulda swore we were a good run stopping defense? What happened? Im gonna stop now but I could bring up so much more shit.......

Our O-Line is awful. We need a new oline seriously (except for joe staley). Our defense was shit today especially the tackling and pass rush. This game had a lot of question marks for the 49ers. Alex smith played decent and its hard to throw precise passes when you have people in your face all day. Jimmy raye needs to be fired during the offseason.

I still have hope for the 49ers this season but man...things are slipping away

GET OVER THIS RUN IT DOWN YOUR THROATS BS. The oline is patched up, give Alex Smith a couple more seconds to read the defense.

And as far as the defense goes, yeah it's shitty too but Nate Clements is out and so is Takeo Spikes, two of the better run stoppers on the team.

And Josh Morgan needs to return kicks more often. Too bad it takes 3/4th of the season to figure out what this team needs to be successful.
