HOW FAR IN THE PLAYOFFS DID THE SEAHAWKS MAKE IT TO.
The year I'm referring to ('99) they got bounced in the 1st round at home to a Jimmy Johnson coached Miami team.

But I appreciated the part Oakland played in giving me my team's first ever playoff game since I was a fan, b/c the last time the Hawks had been in the playoffs before '99 I was 3 years old.

I'm glad you came around.
Hahaha, I was waitin for you to say somethin. I never knocked you for your point of view, I felt where you was comin from. But I think you misintepreted what I was sayin bout the situation. At no time during the game was I hopin the 9ers would lose, and I woulda been fuckin pissed if we did. But on the inside, like I said before, I would know that we would have gotten the #6 pick instead of #11, and sometimes in the draft that could make a huge difference, sometimes not. I could see how what I said coulda been mixed up, but fuck it we won and I can't wait for April and September 07 and just free agency period. 2007 football is gonna be interesting, mainly cuze I know the 9ers are gonna be a force. I guarentee at least a 9-7 record or better, mark those words.

We played a healthy Alexander and Hasselbeck when we went to Seattle and we made it happen. Don't act like some of our key players ain't been injured all year either. We beat them twice, a lil credit bro. The first game I could agree, with Alexander just comin back from his foot injury and Seneca at QB, even though I like Seneca. The second game though no excuses though. Hasselbeck and Alexander had been back for a couple weeks already. A lot of our key players been injured or playin injured a majority of the season. Namely Jonas Jennings and Larry Allen, our 2 best OL men. Even though he wasn't the same this year Derrick Smith, then can't forget bout Shawntae Spencer for a good part of the year. For as many injuries as we had though I think the people we had fill in did a pretty good job, espcially on the O-line with Adam Snyder, Tony Wragge, and David Baas. Also I was likin Donald Strickland a lil bit when he was out there at CB for us, did half way decent. So it goes both ways.

"San Francisco?" Marshall added. "Come on, San Francisco? It was a perfect setup for us."
^ Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall...with his 2 catches for 20 yard performance...

I think its hilarious when NFL players think that any game against any team is going to be a walk in the park. Serves him right though, now we can all watch the playoffs from the comfort of our couches ! :)

The second time the Niners played Seattle they had Shaun Alexander healthy (he rushed for over 200 yards a few weeks before that) and Hasselbeck had been back for a few weeks as well. Not to mention it was at Seattle, with their type of weather conditions. Alexander and Hasselbeck won't be the deciding factors in the West.

We'll see what happens next season.
