Man...RAPPERS are ARTISTS. Not everybody is going to feel the same artists. It's not much different than painters, or photographers. Some people DIG Picasso paintings, but the shit is fuckin weird, it really is...and those people would pay MILLIONS to hang a Picasso up in their house. Other people would rather have a fat poster of a picture taken by Ansel Adams. It all depends on taste.
BUT, you can't hate on a man for BEING ARTISTIC and making his money the best way he can. If you don't rap, you will never understand. Actually, if you aren't a TRUE ARTIST, you will never understand. There are cats out there that can't work regular jobs because they are ARTISTS, they always have ideas. That describes EVERYBODY I kick it with, we all have a vision of our own, and it's really hard to work for chump change when you can make a killing off a simple idea. Don't hate the men that make the money, you can dislike what they do all you want, but you gotta respect them for following their hearts and minds...I dislike a lot of music put out right now, but then again I am a musical cat...so I tend to listen to Italian instrumental tracks and old school R&B and shit like that. But I can never say FUCK THEM because they make music I don't like. Because the fact of the matter is, they are rich and I'm not...so they must be doin something right that I'm not.
