canibus isn't close to g.o.a.t, hes not even relevant in rap music. his music has no personality, his delivery is terrible, his lyrics don't flow nicely because its all sloppy word ejaculate and his production is mostly terrible.

Yes, that classic battle rapper style best left in BATTLING. Hes an amazing lyricist, don't get me wrong-- but he doesn't say anything in his music, there is no message except for him wasting dope lyrics talking about how sick he is.

I've listened to Rip the jacker, can-i-bus, some of mic club and a handful of his "freestyles" and diss tracks.

And what I listen to is too much to list here and would be irrelevant considering how much of a canibus fan you are and how little you are probably involved in hip hop culture, "roz".

How little I'm involved in hip-hop culture? Why would you say that? I listen to a wide range of music from soul, jazz, rock, metal, to reggae... all of these are elements of rap music... I DJ, and have been writing and recording for 10 years... don't judge me on what I look like bro... I know hip-hop in and out, from mainstream to the underground...

i still remember when he tried to rhyme a word with 'orange' (theres no rhyming words in the english dictionary for orange so what does he choose...FOREHEAD)

i just listened to that eminem diss song and started laughing and turned it off..what the fuck is he talking about...'lets have a dictionary duel' LMAO

dont get me wrong i like some canibus songs, i liked the rip the jacker album, but goat hes not

the best part of canibus's career is when he joined the army and started rapping like gi joe talking about detaching from land and dropping down with c-4s and shit

those songs still make me laugh to this day


this nigga is talking about going to war over a beat made of piccolos and flutes lmao sorry but that shit gets a laugh out of me everytime..even tho its a cool song and i liek the chorus alot

That whole album was produced by Stoup The Enemy Of Mankind, of Jedi Mind Tricks... and I think the beats are great... He mixed classical samples, and a spanish vibe throughout the entire album... I think it elevated hip-hop in the eyes of many critics, who believe rap is just full of illiterate non-sense, which is mainly true today... It crossed many barriers in terms of lyrics and concepts... True, Canibus isn't a "party emcee", to get you dancing... but he has helped evolve the art of rhyming to new levels, with many other underground emcees past and present...

oh and if you were talking about the beats, nah, stoupe did that on jedi mind tricks's album before rip the jacker dropped..so it didnt start with rip the jacker..but i get what you mean, although i still laugh my dick off at stoupes beats because i know where the samples come from
