true...

truthfully im kinda worried how Brodie is going to handle being "the guy" infront of his home crowd at home for the first time against a damn good defense especially when it comes to defending the pass. both of our guys are in for a test...lol

Couple things:

01) Some of you guys are acting surprised w/ respect to opponents and strength of schedule. None of that is a surprise today, we know our opponents for next season within 10 seconds of the regular season finale, and it's only a few weeks after the Super Bowl when we know the home / away breakup. The only thing we learn today is DATES and TV arrangements. There's no surprises here related to opponents and SOS.

02) Every single year, people read into the SOS stuff. It's the NFL, this stuff changes more rapidly than any other sport, we know VERY LITTLE about how these schedules will actually turn out. It is nearly impossible to predict, so there's no point in trying. I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers finish in the easier half of SOS that's how volatile this is.

Seahawks Breakdown:

A couple of things stand out.

01) Opener : I'm not happy they have to go back east for the opener, those games are always tougher than they should be for them.

02) Thanksgiving : I will be trying to lure my family down to Texas for Thanksgiving, b/c I am not going to let the Seahawks come into my city and not see them play, but I was also intending on being w/ my family during Thanksgiving, so something's got to give. I'll just have to get their asses down here for the game, it is going to be a tight Thanksgiving!

03) New England : I am glad this one is late, we'll win. We do not lose many at home, especially late in the year, this will be no exception.

this is true.....i still think SOS is a good measure of how a season can turn out though....nfl teams change dramaticaly over a year we all know that....
