I got a cousin out in NY that bumps Pac like he from the westcoast... But thats only because he knows pac was hard and basically he was the only dude from the west that got really popular in the east coast. Other than that they really aint listinin to our shit. They usually bumpin mobb deep or some other shit... hahahah shit thats why im goin out to NY with my g-uNOT shirt on LOL

I got love for NY but Cali niggaz run the world yaddahmean!

Have any of ya'll that are really bumpin' your gums tough ever been to ny for any amount of time? We are not on the radar for the most part in nyc. its not hate its just people dont know about a lot of our shit.

Its hate, i'm from jersey and i'd be in NYC damn near every weekend. They even bag on philly. Its just how it is. They think the west is corny and think cali dresses funny. Anybody who's not rapping like mack 10 or somebody stereotypically "West Coast" is considered a New York biter.

maybe i run in different circles out here, but i see eyes and ears opening to real bay shit out here a lil bit. New york is traditionally closed minded to anything not in these 5 boroughs. At the end of the day they hate everything they dont understand. But at the same time, shit is changing. i was at 40's listening party last monday and it was about 50 yo kid ny ass niggas outside trying to get in and even inside some ny niggas from Red alert on down to the average cat were bobbin they head to ghetto report card like crazy. What i always tell my young niggas in the bay is to look past the hate and use it as motivation and above all else get the chip off ya fuckin shoulder cuz at the end of the day nobody gives a damn about you but you.

Not really because our radio at one point was all on the east's nuts before the south blew up. NY radio HARDLY played any west coast music. Even when Dre and snoop were huge you hardly heard anything west coast on their stations.

I was out at my aunts crib In Queens. This cat was djing a block party and niggas started getting mad at what was being played. Long story short they confronted him slapped him around and it turned into the dj getting jumped. Ny is mad big I doubt you'll hear about everything especially minor shit like this.
