i can't see them making a sequel. i remember alan moore wasnt in favor of making a movie in the first place. and the end of the story doesnt make any sense for a sequel, but then again it his hollywood.

Because The Watchmen is based on finctional events and people, they can do whatever the fuck they feel with it as far as a sequal goes. It may not have the backing of the OG comic, but they can still buy rights to the name.
