I wud say both tracks r good. But the video fits the song (autotune=party/pool/etc). AP shud definately think bout making a vid or sending dat track to kmel

Yeah City Hall is SUPER indie homie....Wax never had promo....all his stuff went thru Urbanlife since Thug Deluxe. his Hitz N More was on KOCH but that album wuz bought outrite from him so he had no say...65 G'z wuz on Bayside but Wax wuz new back then...he has never really had a good look with distro and promo at the same time.

RECESSION PROOF is on E1...with big promo, videos etc....STREET ALBUM 6 weeks on Billboard with no distro or promo....we on our way.

Thanks for pointing out Thug Deluxe wuz at City Hall. Not sure the point but rite on!

WELL HOW MUCH DID KOCH OFFER WAX FOR THE HITZ N MORE RELEASE?? THE POINT WAS YOU MENTIONED ON OTHER THREADS THAT WAX NEVER HAD DISTRO AND THAT ALBUM CAME TO MIND THATS WHY I BROUGHT IT UP... BUT YEA WAX NEVER HAD A REAL MACHINE BEHIND HIM TILL NOW

That's too bad. To me, that is the best song on the sampler and sounds better than a lot of snippets that made it. I'm sure it will be a dope cd, but I don't know how that song didn't make it.

I totally agree. His style has gotten very versatile. NOt to compare him to Mac Dre necessarily, but Dre was very versatile with his flow (came way different on a lot of tracks) and Wax is headed in the same direction. I like it a lot because it keeps his flow fresh and he sounds different everytime you hear him like he's reinventing himself. Wax is making big moves.

oh, for real? I noticed you propped AP.9 (or dj pimp, whoever it was) for posting the release date of AP.9's album in here... I didn't know that was funny guess we got a different sense of humor...:ermm:

I'm really not trippin... just thought it seemed ironic that you were agreeing with everything they said, and you were the pretty much the only person to leave negative feedback on the song in this thread... basically everyone else said it was dope...

but maybe I'm just assuming too much... maybe you really didn't like the song that much... and really though "REALITY CHECK NOVEMBER 17th" is funny... fuck it, it's all good folks

i found it funny that ap9 has beef with awax, and decided to come into his thread to post the release of his own album...u dont find that funny? and when i seen that someone said the release date for recession proof in ap9's thread, i thought it was funny too...not sure if i propped em though

but yeah, honestly, i think the song would be a lot better with no autotone, that shit ruins a lot of songs IMO. i had nothing negative to save about the rapping though
