for that 199/299 price you need to be eligible for an upgrade, which only happens when your 2 year deal runs out. so its good for people who got iphones when they first came out. if you got a 3g u still got another year to go on your contract. if you want to upgrade with ur contract its like 499/599 for 16/32gb 3G S.
