Infamous Kaboo Biography
By: Miles “M.i.” Aaron

There are two kinds of Ghosts in this world, the friendly ones and the kind that kick in the door to your life and keep you captivated. Infamous Kaboo aka DA Black Ghost is the second kind and just like when that little girl in the classic film “Poltergeist” grabbed your attention when she announced in a terrifying voice “their here”, the Bay Area
Hip Hop industry is standing at attention awaiting Da Black Ghost’s next move.

Born and bred in the Bay Area Kaboo was born in Oakland and then moved to San Francisco where he spent part of his childhood before moving to Fairfield, California in 1988. Early on in life Kaboo unfortunately fell into a life of crime, which would see him in and out of prison cells. In order to vent some of the inner pain he was feeling from the constant drama that was plaguing his life Kaboo began to write his thoughts down in a notebook, these entries would later serve as material for his first rhymes. In 1993 Kaboo was given his first chance to lay some of his real life stories down over beats and after his first time hearing his voice blast through the studio speakers, Kaboo knew that he had found a new passion. While he never considered himself a rapper Kaboo saw recording music as a source of therapy and an escape from the streets. As he continued recording and jumping on other artists projects Kaboo was still caught up in the streets and the drama that went along with them and found himself in and out of jail cells as often as the recording booth. Even with constantly being locked up, Kaboo still managed to begin building a name and solid buzz for himself in the Bay Area and after being released from prison in 2006 he launched two different independent artist showcases entitled “The Bay Leno Show” and “Solano County Hogs.” These showcases served as a great opportunity for Kaboo and other local artists to showcase their material while also networking with one another. It also was an early sign of Kaboo’s aspirations for becoming more then just an artist in music. With an amazing buzz behind him Kaboo teamed up with Bay Area veteran P-Coat to release his debut album “Da Black Ghost.” The album features a who’s who of independent Bay Area artists and will not disappoint the fans and industry insiders who have been eagerly anticipating Kaboo’s debut album.

With the upcoming release of his debut solo project “Da Black Ghost” Infamous Kaboo is set to kick the doors in on your life and not leave until you are fully captivated by his intoxicating real life lyrics.
