I think there is a level of ignorance that comes with being loyal to a brand without ever giving the other a chance.
Its like being a pepsi drinker and saying you HATE coke but you have never even had a coke. How do you know its not better?
That logic doesnt make sense to me. I am just the kind of guy that gives everything a chance. I was a die-hard ps2 that HATED the xbox. Didnt care that it had better graphics,hard drive and all that bullshit. Did that stop me from buying one? Fuck no. Xbox live changed the way i looked at what online gaming could be forever. Made ps2 look so primitive in comparison, and that still holds to this day. Ps3 in my opinion is lightyears behind xbox is understanding what gamers want. Live is built from the ground up for gamers, psn is the bare essentials of online gaming.
You dont realize what you are missing until you have it, thats why i feel bad for fanboys on both sides. It goea both ways, xbox fanboys are kidding themselves if they think they arent missing out on games like mgs4 amd uncharted. Those are some of the best games EVER, and are made possible by the power of the ps3

I give both chances a side...I admit that both systems have their fair share of great games. I'm a PS3 supporter to the fullest and will probably never own an Xbox until I get a much better job but I admit that while all of the great things about the PS3 and Xbox, there are also faults to both systems.
i dont think i will ever own a ps3, 1 bc i could give a fuck less about BR and i have yet to see a game i like that is "exclusive". gow is a super button masher which i dont like. i dont care for mgs4 (played 2 and thought it was wack). i owned all 3 last gen systems and of course ps2 owned but i have no reason to buy a ps3. maybe one day a game will come out that will force me to buy a ps3 but i doubt it. all in all it comes down to preference
