Yeah, the speaker doesn't match the grittiness of the rest of the logo. Red would make your name pop more. Basically what tosin said. That and a treble clef wouldn't come out of a speaker. I understand the musical aspect of using notes, but the treble clef doesn't make sense.

Maybe a bit of color for the levels, at first I thought they were supposed to be buildings like the old Denver nuggets logo

The name was originally red but was difficult to read at smaller resolutions, such as my avatar. I also originally had the bars colored but ended up leaning towards a more subtle look.

Unfortunately I merged most of the layers so if I did make changes it would be a longer process, but I might keep it the way it is or make small changes.

i think red would be to much. what if solid black with a red outline and grey border?

or solid grey, red outline and black border?

Yeah I'm probably gonna end up doing that. Looking at it now it seems a bit cluttered. I'll post it up when I get it done. Thanks for all the feedback.
