Chino XL From New Jersey is mostly known for the battles against 2Pac & then disses that he recorded AFTER Pac's death.

He's been known to be one of the greatest battle emcees ever but has yet to see a semi-commercial release as his early comrads Eminem, Canibus, etc...

Well now Chino XL is fed up with being an East Coast artist. He says the rhyme game switched up & while East Coast emcees have dumbed down their lyrics, he says The West Coast Has The Hottest Lyristists Out Now.

"I Consider Myself A West Coast Artist Now.....
.... Me, The Game, Sly Boogie & Crooked I Could Take Over The World...
... Me, The Game, & Crooked I Could Lyrically Take Over The Whole Country"

peep the track & do u think that we should welcome CHINO to the west even after he dissed a westcoast godfather (PAC) after his death? i think if hes ill, fuck it...... who cares, but whats all ya'll thoughts?

his albums aren't that hard to find, so i'd consider that semi-commercial. I mean they didn't blow up, but they were out. I dont know about him takin over, he'd better stick to runnin with Jin and the other freestyle champs. He aint Gonan put out a 'take-over the world' type album

"Here To Save You All" was about the first cd I ever bought and felt it was worth more than the $17.99 I paid for it at FYE,.........

one of my favorite rappers...his lyrics and wordplay is right up there with anybody.just waiting for him to make that classic album i know he could make

he loses points for saying anything that had to do with the game and lyrically taking over anything though...like foul mouth said, the game isnt anywhere near the level of chino and crooked

and as far as welcoming him to the west...hell yeah we should.we should be happy somebody with his talent is willing to work with and be a part of the cali rap scene, only good things will come of it...i could care less if he dissed pac.who hasnt he dissed at one time or another? i hope he comes out here and calls out some cats and makes them step their game up

Y'all are right bout him losin points for mentioning the Game...but in defense for game, the dude is pretty decent for an artist whose only been rappin for a couple years, Game has potential, but as of now it would be pretty ridiculous to put him up there with crooked i and sly...The reason he said that is probaby b/c he doesnt know any other west coast artists.

Most if not all of that "freestyle" is recycled shit from some of his older songs. Chino is dope but that was not a free. Hope he wasn't trying to sell it off as one.
