I aint gonna Lie...call me a hater......but I cant wait for sound scan.With the so called hyphy movement,and all the airtime on bet,mtv E-40 has had and the little airplay ice cube has had..if cube put up some descent numbers..I think its gonna be good for southern cal artists...may demonstrate that you can be true to your artform and still get support.Some people say E-4o flopped,some say waIT until his next video hits...Im happy for his sucess,but some people dont understand that the big companies are trying to sell millions,anything less is not considered a sucess,and not worth there time.....this is also applied to other business chains..where they close a store.the store might have been turning a profit,but with the higher percentage of return on other stores,the time and effort is not worth the smaller profit...I hope ya get what Im saying..

definately the #1 album so far this year. I dont know about sell wise, but musicly, hell yeah. That Busta Rhymes is off the hookers as well. I hope there's more good albums to come. Especially from the Bigg W.

Yup, I agree. Even on the songs that are a little shorter ("Click-Clack--Get Back!"), Cube really sounds like he cares about making an impression.

I've read several recent interviews w/ Cube and he has, indeed, said that he liked making this CD because there was no one bugging him about ghostwriters or forcing him to make certain kinds of songs that he didn't want to make. Don't get me wrong--both WAR and PEACE had some dope songs, but I still somehow think that both of those CDs were compromised to a certain degree. How well LNCL will do saleswise, I don't know--I'm hoping Cube can at least go gold (if not platinum). But we'll have to wait and see...

someone posted last weeks soundscan in a thread recently...and i wont mention the rappers name..but they have had a few videos played on t.v.(Im sure that wasnt cheap)they had mtv my block on there city(area) they even have a movement and everyone screaming how its the next best thing to chocolate malted crunch ice cream....Anyways I noticed Ghostface album at that time wasnt too far behind(Im a fan ) but If I wasnt on the siccness I wouldnt know he had an album out.So when I hear people upset cause some say this artist flopped..its funny cause with all the money spent it wasnt a good investment...some people say when the next video comes out its gonna keep rising....wich also means the company has to fork over some more hundreds of thousands....From a business standpoint at this moment its a flop...almost as bad as when the charges drafted that QB............O.K. well maybe not that bad.
