I like having 2 or 3 tracks from the same artist

i would like to see more real collabos instead of cut & paste jobs

i like seeing fresh collabos from artists who havent ever collab'd together before

i like comps w/ nice artists & tight beats (obviously)

i would like to see ap.9, the jacka, yukmouth, ya boy, e-40, too short, cousin fik, bailey

Pretty Much wut Slump said. Umm... Up and coming artists, plus established Bay artists also. Good Sound Quality cuz most mixtapes/comps. end up sounding like shit cuz no one took the time to mix/master/balance all that shit.

Keep doin' wut u were doin' Balance.

I like comps that aint rushed and if it has some outside artists from tha south they shouldnt have tha beat sound crunkish....I would like to hear em spit on a bayish soundin track instead.

Bay artists don't put out comps anymore. Its all these crappy ass mixtapes. Stop making the mixtapes and go back to the old roots of making comps.

i cant even think of any recent compilations besides the Thizz Nation's...but as for comp's in general i like to hear alot of different artist coming together to make album qaulity music

to me theres nothing to dislike about a comp unless its done wrong

as for hearin more of: mob figaz, yuk, infantry, messy, the old keak

for real. i never cared too much about mixtapes. people do mixtapes like albums. just do a comp with real beats behind it some tight collabs and also maybe a good theme to the comp too and not no bs title or stuff to it. some perfect examples: herm, wcbb1 and boss ballin 1. and also maybe more new upcoming artists. i would like to hear more newer artists out the bay.

compilations are usually hella raw when an established artist puts it out, and handpicks some new talent to showcase

they get pretty hoot when a new label puts one out with hella unknown garbage ass rappers and get a bunch of known features to hook people in...

Compilations are infamous for recycled tracks. Sometimes they look brand new, but in a year or so half of the songs appear on people's solo releases.

What I like about compilations is when there's some idea behind it, like people from the same region collaborating with outside people as guest appearances. Never heard (or rare) collabos, similar styles - not every song completely different.

theres thousands of ways to present a mixtape or come with concepts...

niggas need to step it up..thats what i wanna see

people stepping it up

be an author not a rapper..and dont just pick a beat, set a mood...

if mixtapes were how albums are now...maybe we'll see a natural progression in peoples albums raising the bar..

I HATE COMPILATIONS NOW CUZ THERES NO SUCH THING AS A CLASSIC ONE ANYMORE, THERE BE LIKE 4 TRACKS WITH GOOD FEATURES AND THE REST BE A BUNCH OF MOTHAFUCKAS THAT THINK THEY COULD RAP WHEN SHOULD BE A FAN INSTEAD OF TRYEN SO HARD TO SOUND HARD.
