Residual for what? Unless you have intimate knowledge of his contract, sales and expenditures then how do you know that his fam is owed anything? Big Pun's(RIP) family prolly has no clue as to how the biz works. If they truly think they are being ripped off then they would probably sue.

They could just be sore that they aint being showed more respect and Joe aint takin care of them on GP. But as far as them being owed money, most people go 2 court if they got a legit case.

It aint nothin to say in an interview so and so ripped me off, I'm owed money....I done seen it a million times in mags, then the other side does an interview and says "Bullshit". Pun (RIP) was part of the Major game...Major labels & distributors got they contracts "TIGHT". I wouldn't be surprised if Pun's (RIP) account was in the red and still unrecouped, meaning he passed owing them money.

i read on a magazine, that the label pun was on still owes pun ALOT OF MONEY for sales after his death. Pun's fam aint seen none of that tho, but joe crack has..

You have to remember big pun was managed by payup 100 management, ellis pacheco, mickey bentson(mick benzo) flexx, macho etc.I know personally mick benzo was managing pun, and joe at the time of puns death.if there is an issue of payment then the rios( puns family) should contact the management, and they are lawyered up, one thing about that management company is aint no sheisty shit, the contracts are more then fair, ellis the president has a good heart he comes from a wealthy family( dads a latin grammy winner, moms a dentist) he aint a greedy person he more or less is in the business for the love of it( although he does see a good income) they the ones who got ice t his ice drinks, fat joe the valvoline endorsements,clothing, etc, there is alot of money just off that shit.I wouldnt doubt that puns family is owed money, but whats that got to do with joe? But on the flip if she reached out to joe and he didnt expose her to the avenues to fix it then its fucked up, but that dont sound like joe, Yeah joe is papered up but hes real cool just an ordinary joe like the rest of us, walk up to him if hes standing around hell chop it up wit you like it aint nothin

just to add big pun was definatley gifted, more so then some that were giving the legend status, cuban link is hot to, I aint heard his new shit, so I cant say if his new sature gas changed his flow or not.
Fat joe, he already knows his time is up he thought his last album was probably gonna be it he already told the terror squad last year that they gonna have to step up on there own two feet, joes looking to take over the label role, and management, and opening some more businesses

Remember when they sent Pun to carolina to try to lose weight,they said the label paid for that all those medical things for Pun the label paid for so you know they had to get there scratch back so I'm sure a lot of the money went to medical expences

didnt mean to offend you sensei, but on tha real you said the source reported puns wife as saying she had to sell the ts piece to pay the mortgage on the house?So he aint owed royalties on his albums just, the ts album,Shit if I remember puns solo went platinum and the ts went wood, tha album cant even get a distribution deal with the 99 cent store, and how would this be joes problem or fault it would be the record labels responsibility, last time I checked fat joe aint own no label.If I had to guess she has a wrong perception of how things work like someone said about advances and the label recouping first, next time I talk to my boy Im a find out the real story

It was me that said that thing about Puns' wife having to sell his TS piece. I think it all boils down to respect. I'm sure B.I.G. wasn't owed that much from Bad Boy but I never really hear about his Mom complaining that Puffy didn't take care of her. It's the whole dead homie thing. If me and myu homie were getting down with this music shit and he got popped or locked up, it would be up to me to watch out for his seeds if I was getting breaded out like that.

i think its funny they are complaining bout not having food but then they talk about selling a chain thats gotta be worth atleast a few hundred grand.....thats more money then i will see in like 10yrs of working my ass off.
