e 40 takin too much credit for himself.. he aint carried the bay on his back the past serveral years for nothin...mac dre been holdin it down and everyone know that..when u think of the bay u think of mac dre.. the dood that really started all this shit and opened the doors..not no 40. nigga givin himself too much credit

I love Dre's music as much as the next guy, but Dre didnt make no kinda noise on a national level. Dre will always be a Bay legend and a pioneer RIP. 40 is the one bringing the spotlight back to the Bay, he shouts out everybody from here and tries his best to get everyone limelight, youre trippin if you can't see that. Before Tell Me When to Go and even Hyphy in 04, most people didnt even care to look at Northern Cali. Look at the Bay now, we're probably the most talked about region in hip hop.

No disrespect to Dre, he will always have my utmost respect but you can't say 40 didnt do his thing trying to get the Bay's music scene on a national level.
