if this the single, than big ups to 40...way big ups. hes gettin back to tha grit and grind. he kills the verse. the other two, they were eh, n the beat was pretty on point...but im hopin his whole album has those unorthodox flows, they put more character and personality on the song...n its funny, cuz i feel, jus my opinion, that this being a more grimy kinda hood anthem type of song,i think its gona get more recognition than "tell me when to go" or "wake it up", cuz the hook, tho annoying, its gona catch peoples attention, n jeezy on it gets the people listening from outside the bay. n those other 2 singles were supposed to b radio bangers, so i say hes off to a good start on this album. i think forty has a good shot at makin somethin big, outta somethin that i feel was intended for his real fans. its been less than a year since BSJ, n it was 3 yrs before that when he dropped MGRC, n i think forty was tryna blo on the radio then. now exactly 1 year after BSJ hes droppin RR, no 2 year hiatus. i think this album is more for the hometown crowd(the bay),than the last few albums, which is y he would be droppin it this soon after BSJ. tho they werent bad albums(MGRC, BSJ), it was a change of style that i wasnt really feeling, compared to charlie hustle, ballatician e 40. cant wait to hear the album.
