New design for HipHopDefined

I didn't design this, but as the owner of the site, I would like to get some feedback on it. We're using Word Press to manage the site.

It's kind of a Beta version though. You will probably find some bugs and errors. If you do, please report them to me and I'll add them to the to-do-list. I'll spend about a week trying to find all bugs/errors and then they will be fixed asap. So all help is appreciated.

Right now it's best viewed in Fire Fox, but when all the bugs have been fixed, it will work just as good in IE.

Design wise it looks like a web 2.0 site.
The sites logo at the top left should be clickable going back to the home page.
The menu lets the site down. You could snazz it up with an inline CSS menu. Something like this: http://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic/horizontal02.htm

I like the images used to underline each pages title.
I like the images that are used to highlight entries time and date posted.
I like the background image used behind the main content.

I think the footer of the site is better then the header design wise. The only thing ok with the top of the sites design is the logo. I dont like the grey scaled background behind the yellow. This is used far too much on sites. You should look for something more unique.
If you look at the top right of the site the yellow bg in the banner container it is a little bit wider then the menu div.

I like the look.. your CSS needs to be adjusted.. the nav covers up your header.I am using FireFox...
