When the hell will there be a new breed of bay area artists? Like when EVERYBODY came out in the 93'-97' era, I have rarely heard of a new sick group or a new rapper outta any bay area cities that get radio play like EVERYBODY did in the 93'-97' era. All bay area albums out nowadays are from rappers from the golden bay era and no new breeds, wtf is going on? I was anticipating "big bang theory" some younginz from Oakland on Khayree's label but then I found out Khayree dropped them due to their managers...when will there be another breed of bay area rappers besides the frontline?

new artists are coming most def. true theres been alot of dissapointing albums as of recent, but there is alot of hott new shit coming out and the buzz is growin more and more errr day. our pioneers have been putting it down though, yuk, cellski, mac dre and 40 have been consistent enough during our years noone new was puttin it down. but as homie said, juss listen to the on the block show and tell me shit aint hott. i mean the frontline is doin it as far as gettin recognized, but to me, the hottest comin out is the team. they impress me the most. but wit laroo, and others coming back out wit tight shit, the federation gettin plays, we got nothin to do but elevate. I HOPE pretty soon cats will be satisfied to the point where we stop postin up, WHY the bay aint this and that and we will be more into blowin us up individually because we all blowin up:) the day will come........ we started it, passed it to the east, then the south, then the southwest, the ball comin back to cali and we just gotta hold on to it.........just my opinion...stand up bay area

listenin to the bay songs on the radio, sounds like the bay is back. been back.. it just aint on a national level like back in the mid 90's. that bay sound is on some other shit, just like how it was back in the 90s. the bay done already stepped the game up. the music is different from everything else and the shit is consitent. whenever von & scotty drop some new shit in the mixes, it dont sound like anything else from any other area but the bay, but the shit is still knock! people out here like that crunk because they play it on the radio all the time. listen to the radio now, the bay get hella spins during the day, no matter what time it is. record deal or no record deal, the music is hot!

Fully loaded has been out since 97, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah Keise is sick as fuck I forgot about him, Quinn's been out since 94' MAN!!! but I'm speakin on a new breed not just individual artists. I love what done deal's doing, don't get me wrong but that's just one label. I'm sayin, when will we ever get sick rappers that's on a level as the luniz, the click, Mac Dre, and a grip of other mafuckas. I miss them CMC days, when mafuckas was commin out and sick wid it was droppin albums left and right.

I think you need to get a Frontline cd and see where they takin shit they actually talkin about something more then the basic rims, bitches, money and gun play I think they are leading the way for the new cats in the Bay, but thats not to say they are the only cats doin it...Cheak out Balance he been killin the Mixtapes...listen to the Team they got fire for real...Ya Boy is nice (atleast wit his new song) I like his style and Fully Loaded got some good shit to...Killa Kese is dope...shit wit thes dudes as the foundation for a reasurgence of talent in the Bay I think the Bay can hold the new crown in the game.

This is the problem wit the Bay sometimes we have so many artist and to many artist willing to say " My camp is the only camp. We the hot niggas" when outside of yo camp nobody thinks your hot...let the people decide who is the new hot artist from the Bay are. This is not directed at anyone in particular, but if you pissed then it's probaly you...I don't see Quinn on here like "I'm the hottest nigga" or The Frontline or for that matter any of the people that alot of people on this thred has listed...I think it's cool to big ya self up and self promote, but let the people champion a champion.
