Is this shit on KMEL or 94.9 all the time or sumthin?? Cuz all I do is buy the CDs and I really can't say any of the CDs I have bought have to much hyphy shit so get me sick of it. I NEVER listen to the radio though. I kinda like an uptempo beat mixed into a CD. I mean here are most of the CDs I've bought and none of them have been all that hyphy:

Anyway, from what I have heard of it it is pretty dope to bump - the lyrics are weak though.

the radio plays what the people wanna hear. if "hyphy" wasn't hot, it wouldn't be played. TRUST ME, some of yall aren't the only people who are TIRED of "hyphy" but the majority rules on this one.

no...what's making the hyphy movement look stupid..is this non-bay area heads trying to get into the hyphy shit..you have guys from gilroy, hollister, fresno, santa cruz and so on trying get on the hyphy train...and they wack as fuck...this is why some people dont take the hyphy movement serious..

yea, i been gettin tired of the "hyphy" shit too.....its like i go dumb, i aint gone lie, and from time to time i dont mind makin a song bout it, but wen niggas do songs over and over again about it, sayin the same thing, nearly the same way as the last nigga to blow off it did, then there's a problem. I mean, if u gone do sum hyphy shit, just try to switch the formula up sum, find different ways to say shit, just get more creative......cuz shit does get annoying.

New rappers r using those words as much as they can to get noticed and old school rappers r using them to get re-noticed. One of the new Celly Cel songs he says every new hyphy word he can, when he never talked like that before. Shits getting out of control but there still r real gangster and mob rappers in the bay, its just not nearly as popular and on the radio cuz they dont say hyphy every 2 seconds. some of the rappers im feelin right now that arent jumpin on the bandwagon AS MUCH are
