A Wax - Tha Streets (Throwback Classic Video)
One of my favorite Wax songs.

Man that album (Jr High to the Pen) and most everything before that was straight A-1. Wax had some nice beats and rode the shit out of them.

The 33 track mix tape Rat Trap (Unconditional Thug Pre-Album Mix Tape Vol 2 ) was IMO Wax's best work. Some of the beats were mainstream but he killed all of those tracks.

Some of his new shit has SOME of that, but I really wish Wax didn't have to push into that direction. But I get it, music is a business and you need to try and get fans from all over, not just N. Cali and Washington.

Another one of my favorites of Jr High To the Pen:

He goes back and forth quality wise IMO. I thought Jesus malverde was some of his best work. But feel like be dumbed down some of his verses on nightmare gang. Either way he's one of a small handful of rappers I still look out for constantly.
Yeah I agree. It's dope how he was able to come the dopest regarding verses and lyrical ability even while dumbing it down.
