^^That was based on the "curse of Ham' story and wasn't restricted to Mormons but they just held onto it longer. They brought themselves to conclude that Ham's curse wasn't against all of Ham's descendants, but only Canaan. My question would be, how does that solve the problem when Israel used this doctrine to further justify their subjugation of Canaan/Palestine, which is still under zionist rule in 2007? The Mormons are a bunch of quacks anyways, hell no I wouldn't want one for president, not even governor of Utah..

Yes, I just saw two on the street yesterday (Americans, of course)
They are all over the world trying to brainwash people
But they are not having much success here, 50 years of communism have done a good job and people are not very religious. Actually they have never been, orthodox Christianity is very liberal and people here have always been very down to earth so it is mostly the tradition that keeps it alive rather than faith
BTW I saw an article a few months ago about American evangelists complaining how hard it was to recruit people from the Balkans, I am proud of this

Of course I'm voting for Obama, but how many politicians are really devout Christians? Also Christians are different because their ideas are less radical and more in line with the majority. At the end of the day I'd rather have a God fearing president than a snake Atheist who doesn't give a shit about his own life and soul, let alone his country though.

BTW, since George W. Bush is a God fearing president, how exactly has he shown us that he cares about the country? Maybe I missed the generosity he's provided to the poor working class families or how he's implemented plans that have made the economy better...but since he's a god fearing man he must sincerely care...
