need some computer help

i just bought this new computer and i got it all set up and everything. but when i scroll down on my internet browser or even open folders such as My Documents, its not smooth scrolling like it should, it kinda stops and starts again. i installed some drivers that i downloaded because they gave me the wrong drivers disc. i think im missing something obvious, can anybody help? also, i have no SOUND at all!!! help please

It's deftected, call the company that you purchased the computer from and raise hell because the scrolling isn't smoothe!

JK, usually it's some sort of user error. I have a friend that just bought a laptop and doesn't know shit about his computer so he freaks out every time something small happens.

Is your volume up?

lol. to your computer, then right click -> properties, then advanced, then click on the first settings button (its next to perfomance), then in the next window, click adjust for best appearance. for the sound..try andget the latest drivers for your sound card, check all cables, make sure its not muted (check the little speaker icon next to your time)

Regarding your problem...try to download the latest drivers from your computer manufacturer's site.....what brand/model is your computer?

I never said anything about that site, just that HijackThis is not useful for his problem...if his computer is new why would he have spyware already? The problem lies in the drivers....

its better than askin a bunch of retards in a rap forum. i would rather talk to some self named "geeks"
if u check the forums they fix all kinds of shit

None taken...but I do know a lot about computers and have helped my share of people on here with comp. issues.....its cool though....

its just a computer i had built for me. it has a PC Chips motherboard it is called a SEMPRON 2200 M825G. installed the correct drivers, all my volume is turned up, i dont know what the fuck is wrong!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhh
