my cousin wants to sell me his

1997 3.8 series 2 Buick Riviera supercharged for like 400
aint shit wrong with it except for the fact it needs a brand new transmission....

i dont know a damn thing about cars, how much u think i would have to spend on replacin that son of a bitch?

i aint tryin to get played in the process cuz i dont kno much and i dont have a set budget but fa damn show im not gon spend a grip if it cost that much

help me out

o and he use to have 22s on there,said sumthin about he didnt kno shit bout cars and i guess with lack of maintence with the wheels on it,fucked up his transmission

I wouldn't man. Spend your money and time on a running vehichle. A tranny (no homo) ain't gonna be remotely cheap to replace unless you can do the work yourself.

a rebuilt tranny will cost you a couple grand atleast. If youre from the bay tho.. and wanna go thru with it.. try dorris auto wreckers in hayward.. its like right down the street from Pick N Pull.

i got an 02 buick lesabre with 2's on it, and that shit is hurtin my pockets. Gas is out the ass, if you want 2's or 4's on it your gonna have to cut away at shit, which brings the value down. Buicks arent all that good past 80,000 miles, tranny's start to go and they a bitch to get fixed. If i could i would get rid of my shit tomorrow and get me a CHP mustang. Oh and right now my rims dont rub and i didnt have to cut anything but thats because i got a spacer in between the springs so im able to ride 5 deep wit no problems. but if you anit that deep you can feel every bump in the road

If I was you I wouldn't even buy it based on the statement in bold....... 22's are MORE likely to fuck up your suspension, than tranny! With the lack of knowledge and maintence who knows what else is fucked up. You might get a rebuilt or new trans than drive it away from the shop and your motor goes out, lol... Maybe you should have a mechanic(you or your fam knows personally) to peep it out for you and he could give you an honest opinion!
