In all seriousness, have someone proof read your essay for you before turning it in. Not one of your homies either but like someone in your class. Because if you write stuff like holded or spell divorce as divorese/divorse you are going to fail no matter how good your essay is.

I'm not talking shit either. I know when people write on the Sicc they use a lot of slang or type quick and don't really care how they spell shit but some of the stuff you post makes me scratch my head a lot.

if you dont do divorce you should do the oscar grant case. something current and relevant.

1-2 pgs summing up what happened

2-3 pgs summing up the trial

the rest explaining why the outcome was unjust. give examples of harsher prison sentences for far less severe crimes, etc.

wait...they have education in gilroy?

this is not good advice

I mean... it's a good idea for a paper, but he shouldn't spend 5 out of 7 pages simply summing up what happened...

The point of an essay is to develop a thesis and argue your that thesis. You're basically saying he should only spend a little over 1/4 of his entire essay arguing his thesis

I don't know exactly what the professor is asking you to write specifically... but usually professors want to hear what you have to say. They don't need to hear all the details of the Oscar Grant trial, which they more than likely have already heard

State your thesis in the introduction, provide a brief summary of what happened (not 5 pages), then argue your thesis with different specific examples relating to the case. Once that's done... wrap it all up in a conclusion paragraph...

^^^Yea the point is to argue my thesis not to write about a specific incident where there was injustice ima roll with the injustice of Divorce settlements when child custody makes it so One parent who loves their child is not allowed to see his or her child. Any ideas on how to start my essay off?

nah fool. my idea was solid

start off your divorce paper with just paragraph of a general breakdown of the process of divorce and child custody and how it works. then end it with a sentence or two saying why you think its problematic. or unjust.

just make sure you're not all over the place for the next 6-8 pgs. have 3-4 specific reasons why its unjust and cover them one by one with examples for each

then conclude it saying ppl shouldnt have kids

If you write anything that calls out police or discretion of a race you won't get very good grade scores unless your teacher is on some Immortal Technique/NWA shit..

They will also put you on a terrorist watch list and conduct cavity searches every morning at the doors of your school. However, if you attach a pic of your sisters areolas to the essay you may get a perfect score, breh.
