To anyone with knowledge on the myth. What are your opinions on this? Do you believe that it is all a joke played on the entire world by a horror writer during the late 1920's? Or is it an actual book banned by every one of the world's religions?

Heresy i was hopin you could give your opinion plus any reading i can do inorder to understand this more. Ive read of connections to the masons so i figured you would have some info a little deeper than what Ive read . It just seems to me that the reasons given to why its just a hoax are just too easy, to fabricate. I mean if its a prank then this would be the worlds most elaborate prank ever conceived. Any info or opinions are wanted.

Anyone who reads that book is obviously a cunt casket fucked up piece of dog shit with no friends. At least give me a goddamn book which makes sense. Like the Hustler your mother was in. My dick was so hard it fell off.

Weezy I'm actually looking into this right now.
Everyone seems to think the Necronomicon was a fraud.

But after looking into it, there's actually real shit in there.
I forgot the name of the guy who wrote it, but he really knew his shit. He's got info about Satan in there that is not recorded in today's bible. But it's only found in outside sources.
I thought the Necro, was just a collection of sources?

Everything went away with the flood, all wicked were killed.
But they resurfaced again. Read about the sorceror's in the books written by Moses.
Read the book of Enoch....
The Necronomicon has some real shit in it.
We'll never know how much of it is actually true, but what I do know is that some of it is based on real shit.
Shit that one can't see unless you look every where.
Read about the Nephilim....
You'll surprised at what you find.

all I've ever gleened from the necronomicon is a lot of ceremonial shit. nothing of which pertains to the present day. and those that have sought it for like "magic power" or whatever came up with nada. from what I read my self when i owned a copy was more religio-political ceremonial posturing sorta like the bee flower dance. my thought is that they performed certain rituals according to their rank before a council to determine their "security clearance" this premise makes sense when you take into consideration they didnt have licenses and access secruity cards to verify a persons legitimacy and personage.

in concert with that train of thought. the reason anyone would take the time to learn, retain and perform an intensive and specialized ritual to the degree of the necronomicon is to attain not "spiritual knowledge" of a ridiculous modern religous sense. one would do this for a ancient religio-governmental secret intelligence clearance into the "mysteries".

ponder on that for a moment. my ism is serious.

If you study the environments that many of the ancient rituals were performed you'll get my drift.

remember the mordern gov't is a continuation and relfection of ancient gov't. compare the rituals of today in gov't (if you REALLY pay attention) to the rituals of the past. the similarities are not coincidental at all.

Aliester Crowly said that even though this book may have been fabricated by h.p. lovecraft, it still contained power. he said that what he dealt with when using some incantations out of this book were definatley real. he said that even though lovecraft made it up, these beings were real in his mind, so therefore they were actually real.

i've been around a lot of pompas "occult scholars" and they all shun it. they say its nothing and call it the nappynomicon.

the necronomicon was the first occultic book i ever got my hands on. i was 15 and didnt know shit about shit, when it came to matters such as this. the book said in the begining not to "tinker" with the incantations, so of course i did. me and some friends were in cliff drive. it's a wooded area with cliffs through it and a driving path to go through, hence the name. Anyways we was outside of the car just chillin over looking this hill of sorts. i had the book and was saying the shit in it. well, i looked down the hill a little and saw a figure rise from nowhere with bright yellow eyes. it stood about 6 ft tall. i ran my as back to the car as fast as i could, i was so scared i didnt say shit to my friends. i jumped in the car, started it and mashed. to my suprise my friends were in the car with me, with the same look of fear on their faces. in unision we were like, "did you see that!?!?" we all saw the same thing. it scared the hell out of us. that night my dogs outside wouldnt stop barking, and i kept hearing scraping against my bedroom window, then all of a sudden it got really hot in my room and it felt like something was pinning me down under the blankets, finally i managed to get up. i turned all the lights on in the house, and sat awake in my bed until dawn. nothing like that has happened since, well except the visions. i still have the book, packed away in my parents basement.

I did a little bit of research on it A LONG time ago, I guess it was written by some mad arab a long ass time ago and the original copy was bound in flesh or somethin like that....

On a side note Lovecraft was a pretty good writer, he was good at writing about the unknown...although his words were a bit hard to follow when I read him.

say i appreciate all the replies and so far ive already heard all this. it was supposedly written by Abdul Al-Hazred and called the Al Azif. Like i said earlier, i have nothing emotionally invested in this and am not gonna be disappointed either way. Im interested in the history of it all. If one man who's stories were only read in comic book stores was able to create this huge fraud then i have to give the man his props. If its ''true" or atleast is an actuall book then i jus would like to know why people are so scared of it.

To my understanding that any copies left in existence are frauds written during the 70's, so no one knows the exact full text. it's jus one of thoughs mysteries out there that i wondered if anyone had some info. Cant see myself wanting to start "casting magical spells" and what not. Never been my shit. Im more interested in fact. But then again i didnt know i was a "faggot" until Willy told me.
And Willy i do appologize for bringing up your mental illness. you must be going through your manic stages at the moment. You need to calm down homie. Why dont you jus go steal a needle full of heron from your moms and shoot that up. Im sure thatll calm you down. Jus a suggestion.

@miggidy - it seems to me that you may know something that the others are to blind to see. I will checc out bohemian grove. sounds interesting. you spark my interest.

as far as aliester crowley is concerned; I think that he is a deviant genius. it takes a clever but peculiar individual to take the essence of evil upon himself to prove that it was futile and congruently prove how mythology plays on the mind of the laymen be it a person who is gnostic, agnostic, theist or anti-theists (i a knowledge- hilosophical sense).

he was a powerful muthafuka and he was very competent to know his power was magickal in a practical sense not magical in a silly religious mystical sense.

a very ingenious but disturbed individual.

heresy. why do you say not to tinker? in tinkering one finds knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and release.

even the bible says "study to show thyself approved a workman that needeth not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth."

if one is restricted from dividing the truth one can never understand it. even jesus's analogy of milk and meat exults this train of thought. your theology would not exist if jesus didnt "tinker" with the fabric of judaism.

something to ponder.

although it is also and equally true that a small minded person "tinkering" can fucc they head up beyond salvagability.

:)

@miggidy! WHOA!!! looked at some shit on bohemian grove right quicc. hmmmmmmmmm. now I find you VERY interesting. we may need to have discourse

@Nightbreed - I've heard a similar experience from a person who claimed to be wiccan. he said that he went to sleep after practicing the rituals and was screaming and feeling like he was being choked to death in his sleep. he thought he was awake and it took his father to wake him although his eyes were open the whole time.

I find it amazing that I've "tinkered" with this type of shit in humor thereof and I've yet to experience anything remotely like these stories.

maybe I'm wicced hoodoohoodoohoo hahahahaha. how funny.
maybe these experiences are psychosomatic.

fear is a strong catalyst for delusion. albeit my own opinion.

I didn't bother reading any of this post after seeing you all were talkin about that gay bullshit black magic book wich in no way is the necronomicon

The REAL necronomicon was scribed by enoch [who entered heaven alive & made a metamorphosis into Metatron] (im sure you've heard of him)...There is no longer any copies of it in exsistance & it wasn't a satanic bible like believed it was actualy a history book of the dead...& yes it did realy exist...
