would be dope if Kobe would get coach of the year and regular season/finals MVP in the same year.
Nah, fuck Kobe and the Lakers. I was just stating the obvious. I SMH at people in the Yay Area that are SF Giants, 49er fans and have the Fakers as their NBA team. Everyone I know from the Yay that are Giants/49er fans and choose the Fakers as their NBA team are just Kobe dick suckers and bandwagoners.

If your a Kobe fan, then fuck it, do you. Im a Jordan fanatic because he changed the game but fuck the Chicago Bulls. Golden State Warriors on mine!!!

The Lakers are curious to see if veteran point guard Baron Davis gets cut by Cleveland. He has two years and $28.7 million left on his contract, though he can be signed for substantially less than that. The Lakers also want a shooter and are monitoring whether forward Rashard Lewis (two years, $43.8 million remaining) gets waived by Washington.

Because the Lakers are so far over the salary cap with a current payroll of about $90 million, their only real spending tool in free agency is the mid-level exception, which will shrink dramatically from last year's five-year, $29-million maximum for such a player.

fish needs to retire and luke walton too.
i hope they do that for the organization but i highly doubt it. Fish will probably get released/traded and we will have to use amnesty on that bum Walton. Would be nice if they retired though because lakers are well over the cap and in need of some younger talent that wont be cheap. The one good about the new agreement is that the new luxury tax agreement wont be kicking in until the 2013-14 season, so that means theres still a slim chance we can make a trade or bring in a big name like howard, d williams, or paul.

Lacob and West are makin Nene their #1 priority when the free agency period starts, if that happens, it could be an interesting season...
I dont know how realistic Nene coming here is. I think he is a better fit too many other places, and I dont think the Warriors can swing it. They have a ton of money tied up in Lee, and a good amount in Ellis, and they are going to want to have something left when it comes time to deal with Curry. It would just be that much harder if they have 90mil tied up in Nene. Besides, even if they could get him, I dont think he's that great of idea for the Warriors. He's good, but he's not great. I think he might give them an outside shot at the playoffs, but the payroll will be shot 2 years later. The W's are notorious for over paying for averageness, I say either honestly cut the fat and rebuild the team, or shell out for somebody actually worth it. I'm at the point where I say, tear it all down and start over...You keep Curry, Thomspon, Wright, and Udoh, then build from there. They arent gonna win a lot of games, but the W's already arent winning, lol. Its like, either overpay, screw up the payroll and future, and lose. Or lose now and build a future.

LOL...still cant believe how much people love kobes nuts in their mouth. sit back, and appreciate the hands-down best player of this generation, and only active player who can be mentioned with the GOATs; MJ, Magic, Bird, Wilt, Kareem, etc.

and im guna address that game 7 vs. the Suns really quick...Kobe was doing ALL the work in the first half, and Lakers were down by 20. In the 2nd half, PHIL JACKSON instructed Kobe to do whatever he could to get the rest of the team involved, because the only chance they had to win was if everyone could get going. Nobody could get it going, and the game was out of reach by the 4th quarter. Jordan never played with a starting line-up of Kwame Brown, Smush Parker, and Luke Walton....duck a sick, nutlickers.

this season is going to be kind of fucked up. there's going to be back-to-back-to-back games during the regular season and some back-to backs during the playoffs.

66 is a lot better than 50, but whoever wins still gets the asterisk. doesn't mean it's not going to be fun watching your team play.
