And of course I mean LeBron, Carmello and Wade

Talk about excelling. They are all in the top 10 in scoring(top 8 to be exact), they are all shooting 48% or BETTER from the field (Melo at 50%), are all pulling down 5 boards a game, nabbing 1.5 steals a game, and all but one have their teams with winning records (although Miami is one game out of the playoffs as of today).

When will we ever see another class of talented players like this again?

Ona side note, if the playoffs DID start today, every team in the Central Division of the Eastern Confernce, would be in. Not to mention, every team in the Atlantic, has a losing record.:eyecross:

No doubt that they are super talented, and are the future.

But the '96 draft class can't be touched...
Iverson
Kobe
Marbury
Allen
Nash
Jermaine O'Neal
Abdur-Raheem
Antoine Walker
etc.

He good, but his team sucks and he does very little to help them. Plus, he didnt have the hype these 3 did, that was my main focus. These youngsters are livin up to their hype.
Wade didn't have much hype when he first came in.

Yes, he did. All i heard about was this dude from Marquette and how good he was. I dont even WATCH or pay ATTENTION to NCAA ball, and I knew who he was. I knew Carmello via the Tourney and everyone and they momma knew of LeBron. I never heard a things about Bosh, either.

...Only two fools from the class of '96 have rings... and Antoine Walker wouldn't have one without class of '03 superstar D. Wade...

No of course you're not racist, you are just stating a fact. A lot of people actually think this is one of the major problems the NBA has these days, the fact that the largest demographic in its fanbase is for the first time in recent memory, largely absent from the list of quality players in the league.

You are wrong about one thing, however. You make it sound like Kirk Heinrich came out of Northern Iowa or something, he went to KANSAS. I know they are probably not on Duke or UNC's level in terms of prestige, but they are damn close. Easily one of the 10 most prestigious college programs. The media loves them Jayhawks too, so if Heinrich were on the level of Melo, Lebron & Wade, they'd love him just as much as they would of had he gone to UNC or Duke.

I aint sayin he should be considered "top notch" like those three, all im sayin is he should be recognized as bein from tha same class as them, he never gets mentioned, Bosh does sometimes, thats about it.

plus he was on tha same USA team as all of em too, thats gotta count for somethin, bein 1 of a select few to represent your country.

Im tha biggest Jayhawk fan in tha world, you wont believe how much them east coast schools get jocked on ESPN over tha rest of tha country, its ridiculous.

Melo(pre AI), Wade, and Lebron are all their teams "goto" guy, all im sayin is if Hinrich was to be on a different team his #'s would be "almost" as good as those 3.
