Gotta stay at home on the shooters, or else you will get burnt. If you think you can double off of Peja to double team the ball handler, you will get lit up.

i have gotten a little better but the comp locks down quick when u think u got an open lane. ill go up by like 7 then get shut down and they make a 15-4 run i got horrible jewed last game tho had it tied i was down by 5 with 30 seconds left i tied it with 1.8 seconds left grizzlies call a time out get it at half court they pass it to mayo he shoots in a lil before the 3 point line with a hand in his face i was gonna throw my controller through the tv. Its a dope game but they need custom soundtrack cause there music blows and im not very good a juking yet ill fuck with the joy stick but never seems to work for me

Also, keep in mind that there is a lot of off-ball movement.

So teams like the Celtics will send Ray Allen back and forth around screens along the baseline to try to get him open in the corners. Most likely, the reason why you're seeing cats wind up open is because their defender gets hung up on a screen (or you're using that guys defender to double team the ball handler). The more you play, the easier it will be to recognize these plays. Remember though, the AI is always adjusting to you. Gotta stay on your toes.

Get in the habit of ball denying the perimeter guys, it helps. Make sure you're facing a guy without the ball on the perimeter and push the right stick in his direction and you'll ball deny. Or if you want to be a little more aggressive, use (not sure exactly which L it is on PS3) but the L trigger (360) to grab the guys jersey. You get called for a loose ball foul sometimes when you do this, though.

like 2-8 they block me the ball lands in there hands i block them the ball lands in there hands i got 3 defenders around the rim to get a rebound some dude comes out of no where and gets the rebound they score i gotta pause it every few minutes or im gonna break something

I'd have to see the types of passes you're throwing. If you try to throw a cross court pass where a defender can easily see it coming and pick it off, it will get picked off.

just tryin to get it into the post and they lob it every time if the cpu needs a 3 they jack it up and make i swear im tryin to get a 3 game win streak and foye and some other douche bag is makin the fuckin 3 when ever they want fuck the t'wolves this game is dope but dam does it piss me off

got my 3 game win streak and now playin the pistons and there is no way to defend the when they post up they make the fuckin hook shot if i call for double team they get an easy dunk if i switch to a different defense besides man to man they always leave somebody wide open for a three every fuckin time then some no name queers make a fuckin three when im right in front of em i had to turn it off and take a break

NAW I DON'T CALL NO DOUBLE TEAMS THE AI JUST STANDS THERE AND MY AI DOESN'T EVEN GAURD, THEN THEY PASS IT AND THEY MAKE IT EVERY TIME, AND THE CONTROLS ARE JUST SLUGGISH IT DOESN'T FEEL LIKE THE PLAYERS ARE RESPONDING TO THE COMMAND N SHIT, THEY DON'T FUCKIN MOVE RIGHT, AND IS IT JUST ME OR ARE THE GRAPHICS WORSE THEN LAST YEARS

im waiting for the 2 for 1 deal at toys r us probably to get this game. the demo wasnt that hard, i beat each team with the celtics and te lakers. its just like real basketball, you can make stupid passes or shots that are contested. i had a sick ally oop from fisher to kobe from like the 3 point line. game is defiently the best in the series i just need some money to cop it.

Game is dope, fuck Live. Im gonna make a full review, but so far its worth it. Its pretty hard, but the animations (especially near the basket) are unbelievable. Using the Warriors, its the same story as always though. I cant for the life of me make a 3 with S-Jax, but then someone using JJ redick and Jameer Nelson can go 13 of 15 from 3 point land with them. Same goes with layups, ill miss hella layups but any scrub off any teams bench can dunk over me. I'll never understand it. Also, free throw shooting seems to be a little more difficult.
