Actually, how about I explain it to you. The definition of defamation according to the dictionary states "to harm the reputation of by libel or slander". One of the definitions of libel states "the publication of blasphemous, treasonable, seditious, or obscene writings or pictures". Although she shouldn't have had those obscene pictures on her cell phone that she takes to school when she teaches, it is still her private personal property and those students who stole it were defaming her by sending the pictures to other students.
