I like Nas lyrical style better than Jay-Z and I think Nas music is less dumbed down. Jay-Z is sick too though but my opinion is that Nas is a better lyricist.
I don't know how Nas let Jay eat him so bad on Black Republicans though.

Nas is a lyrical genius and sends messages through his rap of intelligent things, while Jay-Z has the better flow and has made a lot more dough. This kinda reminds me of Pac Vs. Biggie, nowaydays its all about the flow tho, just look at the greatest rapper alive arguements being made about Jay-Z and now Lil Wayne, both have mad flow but aren't really the greatest rappers I think.
