Hitler took the poorest most hated country in the world (Germany after WWI) and turned it into one of the most powerful countries in the world and created a since of German pride.
Where he fucked up was declaring that Germans were the superior race and when he tried to exterminate other races and jack and route other countries....and actually he was doin a pretty damn good job at that until he invaded Russia and when the US stepped in and wrecked shop.

I agree to a point... however, Machiavelli said it and Hitler DID it. Hitler perfectly walked that line that Machiavelli spoke of by being feared and respected through his charisma... the kind of charisma that one in millions has. The kind of charisma that can take hold of the mind and heart of an entire population and unite them for a common purpose. Good or bad being that purpose is not the point of what it means to be a GREAT Leader.
