You got it backwards.

Nas said he admired how Hitler came to power, NOT what he did. Think about it, Hitler took control of a whole nation and damn near the whole world in a very short period of time. He was a genius, but there's a fine line between genius and insane.

BTW, God's Son is a great album.

truhomo you really need to just slurp on the open end of a shotgun and pull the trigger. Consider it a humanitarian gesture.

Nas explained exactly what he meant by the comment, and your little kneejerk reaction is some ole faggot type shit. I can picture your fruity ass with a pink scarf around your neck throwing your palm outwards on some ole "talk to the hand" ricki lake gay shit.

Even though the name "Hitler" automatically produces a negative connotation and connection in our minds, the FACT is that he was a master strategist, and his knowledge of both the human psyche and his ability to utilize that knowledge to motivate an entire country is worthy of dissection.

It is possible to admire the ABILITY of a person to carry out an action, yet NOT admire the action itself. Nas explained that he does not admire the anti-semetism and hatred that Hitler personified, just his expertise in realizing his goals (even though they were evil).

Hitler took the poorest most hated country in the world (Germany after WWI) and turned it into one of the most powerful countries in the world and created a since of German pride.

Where he fucked up was declaring that Germans were the superior race and when he tried to exterminate other races and jack and route other countries....and actually he was doin a pretty damn good job at that until he invaded Russia and when the US stepped in and wrecked shop.

So yea, I could see why the first part of Hitler's legacy would influence "Mastamind."

btw your posts blow donkey balls.

Hitler was a military genius he put it to work on the "dark side" though... if he were to use it for better reasons...he would've been the greatest nation ever... as for what he used it for though was shit

I would pick Niccolo Machiavelli over Hitler as a Mastermind ANY DAY!!
I agree to a point... however, Machiavelli said it and Hitler DID it. Hitler perfectly walked that line that Machiavelli spoke of by being feared and respected through his charisma... the kind of charisma that one in millions has. The kind of charisma that can take hold of the mind and heart of an entire population and unite them for a common purpose. Good or bad being that purpose is not the point of what it means to be a GREAT Leader.
