the bar scene at the end of 48hours part 2 was supposed to be filmed in modesto.you can hear the black dude in the movie say "ill met you in modesto" when he talkin on the phone.but i heard they moved the location because too many people was there fuckin up the takes.

other than that the movie "graffiti nights" was filmed out here.

i guess some of terminator 2 was shot in fremont.. and some book turned movie called kite runner was based in fremont.. but shot in other parts of the bay... and apparently the motion pictures started in Niles of Fremont (not Hollywood!), and that is where Charlie Chaplin started out his career.

first off i forgot the name but it was that old ass movie maddona did right behind my backyard they did the train scene there then it quickly cut to some other place. there were hundreds of people watching i was too young and my fam would'nt let me back there to watch so i sat on my fence with all these high school broads passing by saying i was cute aint that some shit haha.

hm tommy boy done in the fields toward the end of the movie. the trucks parked right at my highschool. they cut off traffic at this bridge and were shooting for a while.

wind talkers were on base were my dad worked they shot the whole camp scene at our fishing spot. you can see magu rock from there that place is always used in commercials and what not right off of pch.

oh and lately they're filming the cowboys training camp in the north side of my town.

thats about all i can think of right now.

my dad built the thing where they came up from out of the ocean into the ship on sphere.and built the framing for the coral and shit.i got a piece of the coral somewhere.he's a welder.
