first off i forgot the name but it was that old ass movie maddona did right behind my backyard they did the train scene there then it quickly cut to some other place. there were hundreds of people watching i was too young and my fam would'nt let me back there to watch so i sat on my fence with all these high school broads passing by saying i was cute aint that some shit haha.

hm tommy boy done in the fields toward the end of the movie. the trucks parked right at my highschool. they cut off traffic at this bridge and were shooting for a while.

wind talkers were on base were my dad worked they shot the whole camp scene at our fishing spot. you can see magu rock from there that place is always used in commercials and what not right off of pch.

oh and lately they're filming the cowboys training camp in the north side of my town.

thats about all i can think of right now.

the final fight scene for TRANSFORMERS was filmed in downtown Detroit off of Fort street. You can see the sign in the movie.

my friends little sister was an extra and gave us a copy of the DVD while it was in theaters. Bonus.

Honorable Mention: "Four Brothers" was filmed in PA, not at all in Detroit... except for the opening sequence where they're shooting out the Cutlass.

You wont NEVER get a film crew in one of Detroit's ghettos. You could be Brad Pitt and still get mowed down for your equipment.

my boy is from North East LA and everytime we watch Up In Smoke he's always like "there's part of the neighborhood" refering to the scene where they're on the little motorcycle with the sidecart rolling down the street (cheech and his cousin). I guess that's Avenues gang turf. Surcaliman knows what I'm hollerin bout......

i guess some of terminator 2 was shot in fremont.. and some book turned movie called kite runner was based in fremont.. but shot in other parts of the bay... and apparently the motion pictures started in Niles of Fremont (not Hollywood!), and that is where Charlie Chaplin started out his career.
