anyone reccomend any good mythology movies?

when i was in 4th grade summer school i had a mythology class were all we did was watch these old ass movies about medusa, 6 headed monsters and gladiator type mofos, then wed build monsters out of clay, good ass class...thing is i dont remember names of moveis we saw.

ive seen one about medusa.
i saw another one about some guys in a ship traveling through the sea then they come up on a huge ass statue of some guy that looks like moses and is supposed to be the entrance to some other world or some shit.

that new movie troy looks dope but it aint came out yet , but i dont think they'll be having much mythology in it , it think it kinda takes away from the movie just like in the tNt version of troy

Fantastic Planet! Not mythology but still...it is the freakiest, trippiest shit you will ever see. I believe it is a french film but it is worth watching at least once
