Man everybody seems to have that problem.

Change your password periodically. And use a strong password consisting of upper and lower-case chars, mixed with numbers.

Example: Say your password was ThisIsMyPassword

A strong password would be: Th1s1sMyP2ssw0rd (2 representing @, which means AT, however it essentially is showing the "shape" of a lowercase "a" and so forth.

Learn password etiquette people!

Your password doesn't have to make sense to you either, this is only used so it's easier for you to remember. Your password can be completely random and be very strong (d8d74j6kd9), however if you can't remember it, it's useless.

Change your password people! And don't use the same password for every site that you use, use atleast 3-5 different passwords.

problem is Im registered to my page with an email address that is no longer valid so I CAN'T request a change at this point....guess I'll just keep tryin thru the day
Now that's the worst.

Only thing I can think of off the top if all else fails and you can't get into your account is to contact MySpace and prove that the Profile is infact yours, a signed picture to reference proof. And explain with more valid information, your situation. I've done it before on MySpace to remove a profile of mine that I lost access to.

Here's something from MySpace FAQ.

What do I do about the weird spam bulletins being posted through my account?

Please change the password on your account. Phishing is when you think you are on one website, but were really redirected to a third party website that has the intention of stealing your login information. Whenever it looks like you were logged out of MySpace.com, please check the web address bar to make sure you are still on MySpace.com before entering your login information. If you are ever unsure, just type back in 'www.myspace.com' before entering in your login information. If you think you were a victim of phishing, change your password. Make sure to not have the same password for your MySpace account as you do for your email address!

Holy fuck, did anyone read that it was a glitch and people weren't actually being phished? After this morning I didn't have to change my pw and the account was restored. Glitch, it was a glitch. But anyone with a weak pw deserves to be phished in the near future.
