How do you get by this?

There was one song where we just added a verse to the original, and the WHOLE original song played after. That wasn't caught by the filter. Then a song where I chopped it up n shit, put a lotta work into it, then we recorded, then the copyright filter caught that one.

You can PM if you dont wanna say it here.

Okay so I chopped up a song and made a beat. It was mostly just some loops n whatever. It wasn't like we just used an instrumental of someone else's song.

They didn't even let us upload it. It said " because the content was recognized by MySpace's copyright filter, or because your use of the content violated MySpace's Terms and Conditions" so obviously it was the copyright filter since they caught it right away.

Of course half of myspace is copyright infringement, hella annoying. At least I did some creative sh*t taking the original song and chopping it up. Another thing, he has a song where he just added a verse, and then the WHOLE original song plays after that, and it wasn't caught as "copyright infringement."

I chopped up the thing in FL Studio, exported as WAV, sent it back, then he recorded over it and even edited it a lil, all with Cool Edit Pro. Also I own the original CD so downloading it wasn't exactly illegal.

They started it in early May this year. I kept the chorus in the song. I mean it's nuthin I've done that hella times before, but I guess they dont check things that's already uploaded.
