And there you have it,"It's entertainment period!" Tay is right when he says "this ain't REAL Nigga shit." This is not rap representing the REALITY of the masses of people having to make ends meet and resort to the illegal economies of America because of societal roadblocks. This is pure ENTERTAINMENT based on and only befitting one person. And Tripp if you think Lil B is steering the youth towards the embracing of homosexuality then you should really take a good look into what is being called "Gay Curriculum." The proposed curriculum will include a 45-minute LGBT lesson, once a year from kindergarten through fifth grade. The kindergartners will focus on the harms of teasing, while the fifth graders will study sexual orientation stereotypes.Among the course materials that could be added to the curriculum is "And Tango Makes Three," a children’s book about gay penguins struggling to create a family. So if the fear is kids being "taught that gay shit" then you might not want to send your kids to school, because this is on the agenda and this is not for ENTERTAINMENT purposes- this is REAL.

I bumped N.W.A. when cussing on a record was unheard of. I even had friends back then tell me to turn it off cause there was too much cussing (Damn, pussies. They're not my Homies anymore to this day LOL!!!!)

I got up to page 5 & stopped reading, so bare with me if I'm repeating anything.

Mr. Mafioso, Snake Eyes, Thug Religion etc. I bumped all of them, but the balance is I knew where I stood as a individual person in the height of the Gangsta / Mobb music era.

I've seen Kill Tay getting ridiculed in here and everybody always goes back to his music and lightweight calling him a, "has been,", but not coming out & saying it. As a parent myself now, I have to agree with Tay on the parent part of his argument.

Those of you that keep going back to who Tay was in the 90's is taking a cheap shot in my opinion. It's like when dudes try and talk shit to me about being fat (I prefer fluffy LOL!), but anyway! It doesn't phase me anymore. I've heard em' all and really see people as ignorant & immature to be grown ass men still telling the same lines as kids do in elementary.

I understand the parenting part on the fact that growing up my dad & I watched movies like Dirty Harry and violent movies of they type with gun play. Yet, he was there to explain to me that it was just a movie etc. So I grew up knowing how to separate entertainment from reality.

I embraced the Hip Hop movement early on & have supported it & as parent I sit & watch, "Beat Street" "Breakin'" "Graffitti Rock" etc. and my 8 year old son loves all of it. I'm showing him the roots and the artist of that era...

BUT!!!!! Today's generation has thrown a monkey wrench in the game & keep trying to force feed the general public that being "Gay" is okay. I can't agree with that at all. Hip Hop is a lifestyle, not just a fad. Yes, we went through the East Coast saying West Coast was not rap etc. We've had our spoils of war. ..but to try & bring this "gay is okay" to the table and expect us to accept it is strongly a no go.

I can't sit there with my kids and be like, "See there kids? It's okay to act like that." Naw, hell no! This whole jerking, dougie, skinny jeans etc. is a no go in my household. It's not okay to be gay, period, point, blank!

I believe this to be the main topic of this thread. Yes, we grew up on Gangsta Rap and yes it has it negativity, but this whole new shit is pushing a lifestyle and trying to make the world accept it in different forms. One way or another, your going to accept it. That's their mentality.

Not in my book, fuck your speech about "Things change, and your getting old" they change for the better, not for the worse. I'm not gonna sit around and let my kids embrace a lifestyle when they are trying to push it to them in the form of a fad / gimmick, entertainment or the latest thing.
