i was a courtesy clerk and that shit was definatly not worth it, the secret shopper thing had me going out of my fucking mind having to say hi to everybody or i'd lose my job, running all over the store, pushing carts in 100 degree weather, once someoneone asked me where the yogurt was, i go "its right over there" and i pointed to it, then some distract manager (who didnt even work for that specific safeway) came up and bitched at me for not walking up and touching the item, after that he told my boss, so my boss had to talk to me about it, then the store manager had to talk to me about it, then the district manager who managed the one i worked at had to talk to me about it, fuckin rediculous, not to mention i was driving 18 miles just to get there everyday and the union took like 20 dollars out of my check every week
