whewwwwwwwwwwww! Just got back from the Hostile Takeover Tour and droppin my girlfriend off and I must say that this was one of the most personally cathardic nights of my life mainly because I went to this concert with my girl, (who is a Backstreet Boy fan) and she got to see my Tech N9ne/Juggalo-based life/world.
But on to the concert, we get there at about 6:30 or so cause bitch-ass Mapquest.com gave me shitty directions. Thanks to Travis & Imamazon for giving me the directions to the very well hidden Galaxy Theatre. But let's skip back to around 5:30-6:00'ish; as I was driving around Santa Ana, Imamazon calls my cell and says:"Dude, there's like only 2 people in line!!". When I arrived at the concert, he was telling me how Travis was sitting at a corner looking pissed after checking out the 4-person line at that time. Sometime before the concert ever started, Travis asks me things like:"Man... do you think there's a good buzz about Tech N9ne in the O.C. (Orange County...Disneyland country)????".
The reason for this question was because over at the PDM messageboard they're saying that the person who usually did the radio ads didn't come through and promote the concert. I noticed that shit too cause when I came back from Diego/Vegas/Frisco, unlike the last Absolute Power concert here, there were no radio commercials for Tech's Hostile Takeover concert. So I call up Amber from JuggaloRydasCC.com and John from LeftCoastJuggalos in a desperate attempt to remind Juggalos from Southern California to hit up this concert if they haven't already last minute. Low and behold, LCJ and JuggalosRydas did that shit. Travis called me and was worried about the low crowd, so I told him about LCJ and Juggalos Rydas helping Strange Music with promoting the concert. I told him:" The Juggalos WILL come". Sure enough, the show was FILLED WITH Juggalos!! I'd say that about 95% of the concert was JUGGALOS that showed ALOT OF loyalty and love to Strange Music.
So anyways, me and my girl arrive at the concert with many of the juggalos in attendance showing love/respect and saying what's up to me, basically cause they remember from doing Milenko500.com,XPW wrestling promoting and past concerts. What can I say?? they're Juggalo family!!! Alot of the juggalos that I talked to fuckin HATE the damn near $50 ticket price for ICP's Hell's PIt Tour that features Mack 10 and Mushroom Head and thing that sucks even more for us Southern Cali Juggalos is that that $50 ticket price is supposedly only FOR US and the rest of the concerts around the U.S. are only $25.
Security was really cool about letting people bring DISPOSABLE CAMERAS inside, but NO DIGITAL CAMERAS...also, The Galaxy Theatre is a beautifully air-conditioned venue that usually hosts Ultimate Pro Wrestling events here in Cali, doesn't charge for parking and is known for their nice dinner tables around, so juggalos and N9ne Minds got to sit back, watch the concert while eating some food.
The concert started off with an "MC host" that looks alot as if he was the child of Jamie Foxx,Andre from Outcast, and Snoop Dogg mated. Just like Ja Rule saying "Holla", this guy kept asking everyone to say "Hell Yeah!!". I called this guy "Swoop Dogg"..the bootleg Snoop Dogg. He can pop-lock though. He then introduced this rap group from Las Vegas called "3rd Degree"...they were O.K....well, not really...but atleast they were better than Chrome Dome from the AP tour!!!
I must add that the concert was scheduled to start at 8:00, but ended up starting around 9-ish, BUT... the time between the artists were very fast, which was cool, unless you really need a bathroom break!!
Next was Kutt Kalhoun...damn... he really improved his solo stage skills since I last saw him perform!!!Juggalos/N9ne Mindz were hyped like hell!! Kutt showed alot of love to the juggalos by starting a "FAMILY!!" chant!!! Here's a spoiler...BG BULLETWOUND showed up to be his hype man and they ripped it up!!! they were fuckin awesome!! "G-14 Classified" (BG's album) is coming soon!! During I think it was the "Parlee Remix" or some other song, Kutt went to the crowd and freaked with these 3 girls...lol, funny thing was that one of the black chicks' boyfriend (that looks like a Dead Prez dude) had just left to use the bathroom!!! and his girlfriend was freakin the fuck outta Kutt!!! The boyfriend then came back and was all pissed cause I guess he saw here while coming back. BG Bulletwound did a few songs off his album too, which was tight...with one of his songs, (Imamazon, help me out with this ) I don't remember got everyone clapping out of respect much like after a "This Ring" Tech N9ne performance. Mad love to BG for hookin it up with the water!!

eadman...PRozak and Mike E. Clark...the Juggalos were really hyped for this shit. Their set was just a big-ass screen in the background playing different images of wicked shit during each song that remind me of Prodigy/Marilyn Manson/Nine Inch Nails music videos. The beginning did a "Ring" (The Asian/American Movie) style intro which looked pretty tight. I was shouting "7 Days!!" lmao! PDM showed mad love for Juggalos, hell Prozak even paid homage to Twiztid by getting everyone to chant:"Die Motherfucka,Die Motherfucka, Die!!". People also showed love by to Mike E. Clark for all his work by chanting his name aswell. I personally thought that Mike and Prozak were going to be painted or something, but they weren't. Prozak got a bunch of juggalos in the crowd to mosh in the stage and stage dive, which was cool as hell! Some juggalos were even doing some crazy Asai Moonsalts to the crowd!! (An Ultimo Dragon-style flip).
