But seriously, with the push this album had he should have been gold months ago and either platinum or almost platinum by now.

Congrats regardless though, hopefully someone else from the bay can keep the ball rolling.

I disagree..i never saw 40 on TRL. Its sad to say but MTV is the avenue for Platinum...Not a couple video slots on Direct Effect or 106 and Park either...Some everyday in your face type shit gets u to that quick gold or plat status. Like 50, we had to here about how many times 50 got shot a year before his release,MTV specials, Biographies,VMA Appearences and plus he was fuckin wit DRE and Em so when his album dropped it was anticipated. 40 got an after school special on SHABBOOOOBLIBOOOPY...Also, 40 is a seasoned artist who people outside of the Bay didnt like to begin with. Why would they think his shit would be any diffrerent now that he has a good push and LIL John is backin him? 5 MONTHS FOR GOLD IS GREAT AND SO WAS THE ALBUM...AGAIN, PROPS TO 40!

I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW PEOPLE SAY 40 GOT SUCH A BIG PUSH. HAVE ANY OF YOU SEEN THE PUSH HE HAS GOTTEN NATIONALLY....PROBABLY NOT. OF COURSE THERE'S GONNA BE A BIG PUSH FOR HIM IN HIS REGION, SO EVERYONE OUT HERE SEES SO MUCH MORE THAN WHAT PEOPLE DO IN OTHER AREAS...

40 HAS NOT BEEN WARNERS TOP PRIORITY SINCE BEFORE THE ALBUM CAME OUT, WHEN IT CAME OUT, AND NOW......
