Boston Red Sox: going to the WS

New England Pats: 7-0 and looking almost unstoppable

Boston College: 7-0 and ranked #2 in the AP and BCS polls

Boston Celtics: poised to make a run at the NBA Championship with a 3 headed superstar monster lead by KG.

Thats goddamn impressive right there.

New York who????

The Knicks are going to be a joke as long as Isaiah is there...The Jest are slowly becoming the doormat of the NFL...the Yanks are falling apart starting at the TOP of the organization...and the Mets had one of the worst collapses in the history of the MLB.

THe only team doing shit is the Giants...and I dont think anyone is sold entirely on them yet.

While my Indians chocked really hard…I could say that it’s still pretty good to be a Cleveland fan.

Cavs were in the finals…and the Indians came really close to the world series.

Then you have Ohio State…not in Cleveland…but most fans are Ohio State fans.

Only team left is the Browns…they’re not great…but doing OK this year.

Yeah...sorry dude, but that's kinda like...second place is cool!

Cleveland and Ohio State got whipped in the championships...and the Indians just got smacked, too.

Oh well...at least there were some good times for you.

Don't get me wrong...I don't like losing.

But...compared to not being there at all...second is cool for now. It shows that your teams are making progress.

I mean...where were the Cavs and Indians before this year?

Now...if it happens again next year or in the next couple of years...then I would be a little more pissed off.

Boston is an incredible place for watching sports. Very intense (albeit spoiled) fans, they sometimes rub me the wrong way w/ their sense of entitlement.

However

It's the worst town in America (of the 51 metro areas over 1 million people) for playing sports. They put the fewest guys in the pros (MLB, NBA, NFL) of any of those 51 cities.

So basically they're really really good at watching sports but really really bad at playing them.

yeah our nickname aint the city of champions for nothing.

and panther206 i know what u mean but we aint got good schools round here to put athletes in good colleges and shit. so if ur a very good athlete from round here u move to texas or some shit. i had 2 friends on my football team that moved to another state to make it to college for the sports and he actually ended up in BC of alll places. so it isnt that we dont have good athletes we just dont have the good schools for the athletes.
