cool long story bro.....only thing you missed is NONE OF THOSE NIGGAS WORKED AT NO DISNEY LAND YOU STUPID FUCK
Yes, because they were the victims of murder, rape, and diseases brought into their society so there are no living people do so. The ones that are still living either live in poor, desolate, and run down tribal lands which is filled with gang violence and drug abuse.

Workplaces are not allowed to discriminate either. There are laws protecting us, and obviously many of you do not work in HR to understand this concept.

@ Smile

this is 2010 homeboy not 1800, the world changes and your average Native American wasn't trying to get a job at a themepark with already established uniform policy. This woman isn't special, she gets to wear the same uniform that I would wear if I got a job at Disneyland.

All people want in life is to be babied. This bitch needs to grow the fuck up and earn her fucking living or get a new job where the uniform policy allows her scarf.
Because our economy is booming right now, and its so easy to get a job anywhere!

And yet you still don't say why this ONE SINGLE WOMAN AT DISNEYLAND, a park that has been open since 1955 with an already established uniform policy, should get special treatment over all of the other employees.

Taking out all of the emotionalism in this thread, this is going to be an interesting 1st amendment case. The Muslims have lost two recent cases regarding this: wearing a hijab while working in corrections and wearing a hijab to court. The woman who wore one in court lost because she did not protest when the judge told get to take it off. This woman went through all the protocol to fight to wear it, now leaving the courts to decide if Disney's uniform policy can be considered a costume. She was not Mickey Mouse or Snow White. She's a hostess. Will the courts rule that Disney can protect itself from the 1st amendment by saying all staff are in costums. If so what would be the implications for all businesses who rewrite their uniform policy to create a costume policy, a theatrical experience for their patrons. I don't think they'll settle. Their group needs to push this through the court system to create impact and policy.

Ignorance flourishes with a mob mentality.
just like the muslims that stone women to death, or like the mob of pakistani muslims a couple of days ago that killed two innocent brothers by beating the shit out of them with sticks while hundreds of people (including a cop) just stood by and cheered them on.

^Ignorance knows no border or labels for itself, only for others, to further division.
just like how muslims get offended if you draw their muhammed, but its ok to build a mosque next to ground zero even though it pisses off many non muslims ^_^

It's crazy how minorities will rage against other minorities that do not conform or assimilate to this country's standards. As if being ethnic is something to be ashamed of. As if the only acceptable way of living Is to be American. Foreigners need not apply.

Like the only right way of life is a white way of life. Gtfoh.

How is drawing a cartoon the same as building a place of worship? There's a thing called intent which differentiates when something is done for malicious or positive reasons.

Look at the conversation, you were the only one to bring up the mosque and when I said ignorance is essentially universal, you're still talking about muslim ignorance in particular. If you have an opinion to voice go ahead, just don't feign a discussion with me to do so.

I'm sorry, but when you're employed by someone... and they're paying you... they have a certain amount of control over what you can and cannot do

and I'm not being racist... if a white christian wants to wear a crucifix around their neck to work and the employer says you can't wear jewelry to work... then don't fucking wear it! and if you do, expect to get sent home or eventually fired

and you gotta think of this... if they let this woman slide... then other employees will try to get away with things and say it's part of their religon... if the company says "no, you can't do that" the employee is gonna turn around and say "oh, well you let that one lady wear her hijab... you're discriminating against ME"

that's why they have to keep it uniform among all employees

companies have rights to enforce dress codes and other policies

or how bout this for an example... let's say I work at a retail establishment... and our busiest days are on the weekends, therefore all employees are required to work Saturday and Sunday... this rule is established when I start, I work on Sunday every weekend for 3 years... then all of a sudden I say I can't work Sundays anymore because of my religious beliefs... is the company supposed to say " ok, no problem... we'll change our policy for you"

fuck no

when you work for someone... they have the right to tell you what to do and what to wear... period... don't like it? quit!
