The best option IMO are iPod's, but if you dont want to try em....check out the Creative Zen series....

fasho i got a creative zen. its one of the older versions but its dope $170 5 gigs plus its got fm radio and voice recorder. and its got a replaceable battery unlike an ipod but ever since i had mine like 6 months i never had to replace it.

aint nothin like an ipod man, trust me, those new video ones are sleek, and they have like 10 hours of battery life, wats a bitch tho is charging them, u gotta leave the computer on, or u can buy an adaptor, and if you buy an ipod, but the extended warranty.

without opening the casing that is.... Creative Zen Micro is what I have, Love it. You can pop the back out if you ever need to replace the battery.

just bought a 1 gig nano yesterday...$149 at best buy, $188 with the 4 year warranty...holds about 250 songs...seems cool so far...the battery life is 14 hours

thanks for the replies, the ipods got generally at tops 14 hour battery life, and i pretty much have my music going constantly through out the day so it might be a problem. thanks

i had a creative zen but it got fucked up & now sound only comes out of one side of the head phones & yes i tried new head phones & speakers still the same thing so i went out & got a 60Gb ipod & i love it the battery last a long ass time if u dont change songs every two seconds & if u don just make a playlist with the songs you like & it will last you all day

the people at the apple store said they just replace the whole ipod...although that sounds a little iffy....besides, look at the ipods and how would you open it? my mini's battery life is starting to act a ass....the creative's are coo, they got about the same features as the older model ipods, although they are much bigger....iriver are pretty good, but they're kinda big....512 aint shit as far as memory goes....I say spend a bit more than $300 and get a psp with a 1 or 2 gb memory stick....if not fuck with the ipod...and not a nano, cuz after the novelty wears off of the size you'll be stuck trying to figure out what songs you wanna remove so you can put in the next album you got....I got a 6 gb mini and almost 30 gb of music on my hard drive, that shit sucks
