Yeah I moved from tha City to Hayward cuz rent is HELLA cheap! First spot was offa Jackson by the Safeway, then Tennyson and Mission and now I'm by San Felipe Park. Been out here for almost 4 years...my only real complaint is my allergies act the fuck up and it be gettin hella hot in tha summer LOL!

i feel u on that....and yes the east bay gets hotter than a sauna...
I been to Hayward so many times....It's boring...I would never move out there...but some people like it and don't know why...
Castro Valley is ehhh ..i would never move there...although i go there to pick up my lil girl from the sitter here and there...
Oh yeah....also try avoiding certain Apartments on Willow Pass Rd as well.......
and if you really wanna move closer to a Bart station...Pleasant Hill Bart is the one..there's some nice Apartments on Oak Rd....walking distance from the Bart as well..they go for like 1,200-1,600 a month....a beezy i fucks wit lives on Oak Rd...sometimes i just catch a bus and to the P.H. Bart station and walk from there to her pad...

Yeah Hayward is hella different than the City but if I wanna go somewhere everything is easily accessible - 880-580-bart-San Mateo bridge etc

ten minute walk from your doorstep to the pittsburg/bay point train platform.
train will cost you 200+ a month tho but if you have commuter checks then thats pre-tax. safeway, roundtable, bk, starbucks, blockbuster within walking distance. right before the traffic starts on hwy 4.
