motif memory card help --- URGENT PLEASE HELP

To everyone familiar with the motif,

I have been saving tons and tons of beats on my smart media card (I have about 4 memory cards now). So I purchased a USB-memory reader to transfer the beats on the memory card to the computer (for back-up). Well I noticed that now I can't load any of my beats from the memory card (everything is blank) so I dragged a few files back to the memory card from the F drive) and I still can load or find any of my beats. I usually go under all patterns but everything is gone.

How do I bring/load the beats back??

Why didnt you just connect your Motif to the computer with midi cables and use the yamaha tools software to back up your data on the comp...thats what I do

Also try asking some people at the motifator forum
